Recently a friend of mine apologized for the brief silence she had given me, she said "sorry I'm going through a lot".
Without airing her dirty laundry, I thought to myself.. there's two ways of looking at this: 1. She's more "stuck" than anything 2. In order to go through something you must have a destination in mind.
That short little handicap of a statement "I'm going through a lot" we've all said it. But what does it really mean? Do we even do anything about it?
To go "through" something there must be a start and end point. When you say you've got a lot going on and you're going through a lot, are you evaluating how you got into the spot you're at now? Do you have a destination in mind?
Because maybe you're not only stuck where you are, perhaps you've made a home and settled as well. Especially if you lack a desire for a game plan.
If you have multiple obstacles going on in your life you gotta take care of them one by one. You can't leave one race to go finish another one, with this mindset you'll often leave things undone creating a cycle of more work for yourself and more stress.
So stop telling yourself "I'm going through a lot" and actually go through the issues Have a destination in mind And keep moving towards completion
